Name: Ines Thomasine
Where are you from? Vancouver, BC Canada
How long did it take you to craft your costume? In total, about 4-5 hours.
What was your inspiration? Please be specific. I was definitely inspired by the Monsterball, however, I've studied Gaga's street style for a long time now and I've gathered bits and pieces from what she has worn in the past. Fishnets are a must when it comes to Lady Gaga--I relate them to her as much as the famous hair bow. The makeup, of course, was inspired by the Born This Way single cover.
Please describe your costume in detail: killer heels, fish net stockings, PVC panties, studded bra, and borrowed leather jacket (thanks Parker!)
What was your experience like wearing the costume? This is my go-to Gaga outfit, though I change it up just a touch each time. The first time I wore it was to the Monsterball, but I had yellow hair. Gaga interrupted 'So Happy I Could Die' to say to me, "Nice yellow hair." Probably the highlight of my life. Second time I wore this was with the paparazzi sunglasses and fingerless leather gloves. This time, was for mine and Gaga's birthday, and all of my friends dressed up in Gaga inspired costumes. The outfit was received VERY well!
If you wore your costume to a Lady Gaga concert, where was the concert? Rogers Arena, Vancouver
If you were to name your costume, what would you call it? The Government Hooker
